PG&E and Storm Damage Causes Some Areas to Remain Offline, but Conifer Communications is Working to Restore Service
Dear Conifer Communications Customers,
We hope this message finds you safe and well during these difficult times. We wanted to provide you with an update on the recent storm and resulting internet outages.
As of March 2nd, 2023, we have made significant progress in restoring service to the majority of our network. Our phones are operational once again, and we are working tirelessly to get all our customers back online.
However, we still have a few areas experiencing outages due to the storm and PG&E. In the Groveland and Mariposa area, customers in Greeley Hill Ridge, Bullion, Buck Meadows, Red Cloud, and Airport AP are still down due to PG&E. We have our snowmobiles ready and are trying to physically reach these sites with generators to get them back online as soon as possible.
Customers in the Sonora area are also experiencing outages in Cedar Ridge and Harris AP due to PG&E. Again, we have our snowmobiles ready to go and are doing everything we can to restore service.
In the Angels Camp and Copperopolis areas, customers in Fowler, Starletta, and Gopher Hill are currently down. Fowler feeds Starletta and Gopher Hill, and Fowler is down due to storm damage. We will be heading back out to Fowler tomorrow to restore service.
Finally, for customers in Telegraph, Old Telegraph, Green, and Merrell, we currently have generators running to keep your service up and running.
We want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to restore service to all our customers as quickly as possible. We understand how important it is to stay connected, especially during these times, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve these issues.
Thank you for choosing Conifer Communications as your internet service provider.
Sincerely,
The Conifer Communications Team
